Hoosier Land Park was founded in 1965 by the Farmers who lived in the house adjacent to the property. The Farmers operated the park into the mid 70's when it was acquired by the Fromholtz family. In 1991 the property was purchased again. Fast forward to 2010 when it was purchased by Munn's Family Camping LLC.
The old Iron Bridge has a history as well. It was moved from Madison County Indiana and placed over the creek connecting the upper and lower campgrounds. The bridge was restored in 2011. The park has seen its share of visitors over the years including the surrounding communities.
Day to day operations are ran by a team of a Park Manager and a Grounds keeper.
Scott has made many changes to the property. One of the most noticeable changes was renovating the club house, with its 4 exterior private shower / restroom facilities and the restrooms within the club house.
Scott expanded the kitchen to offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Street signs were added and the Pay Lake was stocked with Bluegill, Catfish, Bass and more.
We can accommodate from primitive camping to a full hook up service.
